Painting Recieves Award!

My piece, “Big Chief Monk Boudreaux” has been awarded one of the 3 Juror's Choice Awards in the Maryland Federation of Art exhibit, "America at 250: Be Revolutionary" that opened June 25th in Annapolis, MD. I could not be any prouder of myself!!

This piece is part of my series "The Gospel According to New Orleans and I painted it to honor Big Chief Monk Boudreaux, a living legend. I'm so happy to share this important part of our culture with a broader audience!
