Burning Down the House

From a photograph taken by my son, David L. Jones, also an artist, of fellow artist & mutual friend, David Lobdell. They always burn something at the end of an iron pour event. This was the 2022 Western Cast Iron Art Conference. The clown getup was because they did an Iron Carnival over Halloween weekend. I had t paint because I think it’s funny. I don’t do political art, but this definitely has unintended connotations given the state of things! Painted with their permission.
